We are excited to announce the addition of our third daughter, Ruth, to the Snodgrass family. She arrived early the morning of Thanksgiving, continuing the tradition of November birthdays in the majority of our family. After a 4-hour labor, she quickly stole all the attention from her older sisters, Maria (5) and Celine (2). Ruth weighed in at 6lbs 14oz, making her the biggest of our little turkeys to date.
I've heard that adding a third child is challenging, but I'm convinced the older two girls can help ease the burden with a little training. They've already shown an incredible amount of interest in all the important stuff: diaper changes, pacifiers, holds, hugs, and kisses.
I owe many thanks to my wife, Melissa, for making every part of life with kids (especially all girls) seem normal—even despite the fact that I'm in totally foreign territory here.
